The good people at Klei Entertainment have been busy, albeit secretive about the development of the sequel to our well-reviewed 2D hack’n’slash platformer Shank that made our honorable mentions for 2010’s best indie games of the year list.

Beyond the expected par-for-the-course graphical improvements, the sequel will feature an online co-op survival mode. We look forward to some more dynamic, co-operative cartoon-based blood-letting!
Shank 2 will be available for Playstation Network, XBLA and PC.
