Go Big, Or Drain
On Thursday, May 16, 2013, an army of silver ball enthusiasts descended upon the lobby of Toronto’s First Canadian Place.
In partnership with the Stratford Festival’s production of The Who’s Tommy, FCP hosted PINBALLAPALOOZA! The lobby of Toronto’s tallest office tower was transformed into a massive pinball arcade. A bevy of tables were on hand, with titles ranging from Stern‘s Tron to Midway‘s iconic Addam’s Family table. Members of the cast of Tommy were on hand for a stellar concert previewing the production’s music while all tables were set to free play for an entire day.
Tilting At Windmills
To top off the festivities, a Guinness World Record was successfully set that day: 100 pinball wizards playing individual tables simultaneously! IGR’s own LadyFim was a member of the record-setting team!
