Mimimi Productions has announced that their wickedly creative action platformer title, The Last Tinker: City of Colors, is set to hit Steam on May 12th. The full game will be available for Windows PC, Mac and Linux.

As Koru, the last tinker, you’ll embark on a quest across a vibrant land, fighting to undo the dividing effects of the Bleakness. Making the trek will involve some fast paced combat, and will also call upon some unique puzzle solving. With perseverance and cleverness, you can unite the various colors, and bring harmony back to the multi-hued land.

We Built This City

I mentioned a few elements that I hoped would be further fleshed out after having played the preview build of the game. While there is certainly a lot of charm to be found in Koru’s realm, I’ve got my fingers crossed for a more nuanced combat system. As the preview really only covered the introductory chapter, I’m looking forward to seeing what awaits in the rest of this cheerily-designed explosion of color and creativity.

The Light is Green
