Ok, we’re a little off topic here, but because we like to talk about good game development, it is worth looking at Blizzard’s insanely successful World of Warcraft MMORPG and why it is so sticky.  One of the things about World of Warcraft that Blizzard got right is how they manage balance the various classes (and when something gets too out of whack or unbalanced, a patch usually attempts to fix (nerf) it.)  Another thing a good MMORPG needs is a balance between being able to play solo and to play in groups, guilds, parties and raids.  Again, they tend to get this right more than most competitors.

With its previous expansion The Burning Crusade, Blizzard introduced two new classes – the Blood Elves (arguably so that the Horde could have a pretty looking character) and the Dranei for the Alliance.

This week we look at the new expansion Wrath of the Lich King and how Blizzard has managed to introduce yet another class – the powerful Death Knight.  The Death Knight is a specialized class that can only be unlocked if you have level 55+ character on that realm, and you can only have one Death Knight per server. WoW Death Knight Guide – Talent Build For Solo Leveling

With the WotLK expansion release for World Of Warcraft the Death Knight class becomes available for anyone with a level 55 or above toon. The expansion also raises the level cap to 80 and allows for increases in class talent trees. This guide will deal with the best talent build for rapid solo leveling of the new class and works extremely well with a good WoW quest helper program.

If you are not familiar with these premium World of Warcraft quest helper programs they basically are in game leveling guides that utilize solo questing paths in order to rapid level any race/class combination.
