IGR interviews lead game designer Chris Hecker about his much anticipated multi-player title “Spy Party” at PAX Prime 2012.
Hecker describes the title as a Casino Royale-esque cocktail party wherein two players play against one another – one as a spy the other as a sniper seeking to take them out. Hecker discusses why most of the development time has focused on depth and graphical treatment will be a later priority.
He also comments on why indie games are in a golden age, and why Spore ultimately failed as an experiment.
