IndieCade Festival 2016, taking place this October in the Los Angeles area, is still accepting game submissions! While the official “Early Submission” deadline has come and gone, the IndieCade selection team is still accepting “Late Submissions” until June 15th, 2016.

Games submitted during the late submission period are subject to a larger fee, but included with the submission fee are a pass to the three-day festival, consideration for finalist at the IndieCade Festival Red Carpet Awards, and two complimentary passes to IndieXChange, the developers’ summit held every year before the festival itself.

To Paris with Love

In addition to the chance of showcasing new games at this year’s Los Angeles event, any developer submitting to IndieCade will also be considered for the inaugural IndieCade Europe in Paris. IndieCade will also be hosting a showcase at E3, taking place this year from June 14th through June 16th at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

The biggest convention in the United States devoted specifically to independent games, IndieCade focuses on all sorts of games – video, role playing, board, card and live action – not to mention the rapidly expanding world of virtual reality.

Past events have premiered such favorites as Cibele, one of IGR’s favorite “walking simulators” of last year, and Her Story, the full motion video murder mystery that made our Top 10 Mobile Indie Games of 2015 list as well as the IndieCade Grand Jury Award.
