Contact Indie Game Reviewer
Have you got a game you are releasing and would like to see reviewed here? (Please note we do not often review demos when a full game is available and we really prefer not to review Alphas). We do not typically write about Kickstarter/crowdfunding campaigns. We prefer to cover games that are available to be played. We do cover all genres and sizes of game without bias.
Please send a non-DRM download link or 2 redemption/access codes (editor gets one and writer gets one – it’s for the best) for the game in your message. If possible, please include a link to a trailer. A brief paragraph description, short and to the point is helpful to differentiate it from a generic message. Please don’t tell us your life story, let the game speak for itself. Don’t overthink it!
All of the above is merely for convenience and does not affect our decision to cover your title. Submission does not guarantee we will cover your title, but we do make best efforts. Seriously, we really wish we could cover everything that someone out there worked on, but it is not possible. We do support you, though and really hope you get what you wanted out of the experience of making a game. If we are able to help, that makes our time here all worthwhile.
NOTE TO DEVELOPERS: If anyone ever asks you for money to review your game on behalf of IGR, they do not actually write for us. We do not accept money for, nor do we publish “sponsored content.” If we approach you to review your title, the email must come from the indiegamereviewer.com domain. All other requests are not made by us. Devs – be wary of impostors!
